Nature exploration program for kids

Nature lovers from ages 8 to 14 are invited to join Nature Quest, a five-part program sponsored by the library and the Nashua River Watershed Association.

Kids will study natural habitats, try out science experiments at home, and visit local parks to learn how water, land, plants, and animals are related.

The program will run on Saturdays, Jan. 9, Feb. 6, Mar. 6, Apr. 3, and May 1. Students will attend a one-hour virtual meeting with the group from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. From 1 pm to 2:30 pm they will go on a guided adventure for students and families in a Nashua park.

The group will create “Discover Nashua’s Nature,” a guide to be displayed in the library and online.
