Located in the heart of downtown along the banks of the Nashua River, the Nashua Public Library is a 57,000 sq. ft. building constructed in 1970.

The library's main level features the Children's and Teen Room, the library's entire collection of materials, and local history room. 

On the lower level, visitors can find meeting and study rooms, the NPL Theater, seed library, puzzle exchange, and library administration offices.

parking meterPublic parking is available at the City of Nashua-owned parking lot on 6 Hartshorn Avenue. 

Two pay stations are located at the beginning of the library's walkway. 

Parking is free on the weekends, holidays, and after the times below. 

West Half (2 Hour Time Limit)

  • 9 am to 7 pm
  • $0.75 / Hour
East Half (No Time Limit) 
  • Monday through Friday 
  • 9 am to 6 pm
  • $0.50 / Hour
