
Services for People With Special Needs Books by Mail Large-Print Books The library has an extensive collection of large-print books, both fiction and nonfiction, located to the far left of the entrance. Audiobooks The library has an extensive collection of audiobooks on CD and cassette, housed downstairs in the Music/Art/Media Department.. From the library's Web site, cardholders can also download audiobooks to their computers and certain MP3 players. E-Books Elevator An elevator is available to all public areas of the library. Front Doors The library has ADA-compliant, automatic-opening front doors. Video Magnifiers Customers can use our magnifying machine, located in the Reference Department, to enlarge the print in reading materials. Accessible Computers A handicapped-accessible workstation is available downstairs in the Winer Room. Software on this computer can enlarge text on the screen and read Web pages aloud. EZcart
Talking Book Program The New Hampshire State Library lends a variety of books and magazines, recorded by professional actors. They lend equipment to play these books and magazines and also offer special videos. More information is available on the State Library Web site. |
