On-Going Programs:

Reading Patch Club
The Reading Patch Club is a year-round reading program started at NPL in June 1998 where children pick a reading category of interest to them and then they read up to 50 books to receive a beautiful embroidered patch they can attach to a back pack, hat, shirt, jacket, etc. Sticker and button incentives are given along the way. The best thing about the Reading Patch Club is that children can read at their own pace and don't have to worry about the program ending. Join the hundreds of area boys and girls already in the Reading Patch Club and start reading toward your first patch today!

Display Cases
Display cases are available in the Children's Department on a monthly basis for children up to age 12 to display their special collections of dolls, legos, keychains, football cards, shells, you name it! Just speak to one of the Children's Librarians and get your name on the list.

Student Artwork
Student artwork from the Nashua elementary schools is displayed in the Children's Department on a monthly, rotating basis. Stop by and see what school is here this month

A Note to Parents and Caregivers:
Please do not leave children under the age of seven alone anywhere in the library. Together we can keep our children safe.
