The National Library of Medicine's searchable database of high quality information about marketed drugs for people and animals. This information includes FDA labels (package inserts). The Web site provides health information providers and the public with a standard, comprehensive, up-to-date, look-up and download resource of medication content and labeling as found in medication package inserts.

A detailed guide to drug information, the Drugs.com database is powered by several independent leading medical-information suppliers including • Stedman’s Medical Dictionary, Cerner Multum and Thomson Reuter's Micromedex. Resources include a pill identifier, a drug interactions checker, and an index that is searchable by drug name or condition.

Drug Information Portal   

From the National Library of Medicine, gives users a gateway to selected drug information from the U.S. National Library of Medicine and other key U.S. Government agencies.   At the top of the page are links to individual resources with potential drug information, including summaries tailored to various audiences.  

Electronic Orange Book  (FDA))    

From the United States Food and Drug Administration , the Orange Book identifies drugs that have been approved by the FDA along with their approval dates. Search by name, active ingredient, applicant holder, and applicant number.

NH Bureau of Elderly & Adult Services   

This agency provides social and long-term supports to adults age 60 and older and to adults between the ages of 18 and 60 who have a chronic illness or disability.  It sponsors such services as home care, meals on wheels, care management, transportation assistance and assisted living to nursing home care.

This search service requires registration but there is no fee. This board (ABMS), a not-for-profit organization, represents 24 medical specialty boards which establish and maintain high standards for physician certification. .According to the website:

"Certification obtained through one of the ABMS Member Boards denotes that a physician has gone beyond the minimum requirement necessary for licensure and provides assurance that a physician has the appropriate knowledge, skills, and experience needed to deliver optimum care in a specific area of medicine."
