Programs on the opioid crisis

Thursday, March 23: From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., the City of Nashua Division of Public Health will hold a workshop on what substance-use disorder is, how to talk about it, and how to administer Narcan, a drug that can save the life of a person who has overdosed on opioids. At 7 pm, human relations teacher Lisa Yates will lead a conversation for 18- to 25-year-olds about opioids, addiction, and transformation. Young adults are encouraged to come talk about the impact the epidemic has had on their friends and families and what can be done to end it. No registration is required for the 7 pm program.
