Title:
Microwave Candy Making

Brief Description:

Basic Cooking Information including safety, cleanliness and following instructions. Group divided into units, each one making a particular candy.

Materials Needed:

As required by chosen recipes (food stuff)

Equipment as required

Latex Gloves, if necessary

Cost:
Approx. $2.50 per participant

Program Procedure:

After talking about basic cooking information, the group is divided into units of 3-4. Each group is given a recipe to follow. While each unit works on their recipe, the others play games, eat snacks etc. Each unit in turn makes candy. At the end, candy is divided up and participants take home a tin of assorted candy.
