Title:
Box top slippers

Brief Description:

Make and decorate flip flops (Indoor use only) from flattened cereal boxes.

Materials Needed:
Cereal boxes, scissors, glue stick. Masking tape and assorted decorative accents. Glitter, markers, wrapping paper.

Cost:
$ 1.50 for two flip flops

Program Procedure:

Flatten empty cereal boxes and cut out each large side for foot tracing.

Step on square and trace foot with marker.

Cut out tracing with sharp scissors.

Cut out thinner strips for straps from extra pieces of the cereal box.

Use masking tape, duct tape, or packing tape to secure straps to bottom of the soles.

Decorate with markers, paint or use wrapping paper and glue to the soles.

Add glitter, feathers or other decorative accents to the straps, pompoms.

Hole punch for the strap and insert a fake flower and secure with tape
