Why Join the Friends?

Your membership demonstrates to the community that you feel that the library is an important institution in the life of Nashua.

As a Friend, you can limit your involvement to a yearly contribution, or you can become as active as you like in the Friends' fundraising and cultural activities. Some Friends organize books sales, some plan programs, and some volunteer for special projects in the library.

Exclusive special benefits for friends include:

• The library's quarterly calendar of events mailed directly to your home.
• Book Sale previews that enable you to get first crack at the inventory before the general public. (Note: Please join with a Family contribution so that everyone in your family can enjoy the Book sale previews!)
• A membership card that provides forgiveness of up to $5 in library fines
